We are committed to seeking out and fostering new talent by recruiting apprentices and giving them the opportunities that working with a forward-thinking company can provide.
Our apprenticeships are managed under the stewardship of JTL, a body initially set up by the Electrical Contractors’ Association and the Unite union. Now a registered charity, they specialise in apprenticeships and training in:
- Heating & ventilation
- Engineering maintenance
Apprentices follow a structured training plan, with day-release to attend college, and their development is monitored by JTL to ensure they are progressing in line with their training plan.
Apprentices’ health and welfare is a key priority for us. All apprentices work alongside qualified technicians who oversee their work. They are given a wide range of installations to work on, thus giving them varied, and interesting, hands-on experience.
Additionally, our H&S team make a point of checking they are working safely on their regular site visits.
