arc Group London are getting ready to do some serious fund-raising on behalf of The Linda Tremble Foundation, a charity set up to help those suffering from eating disorders. Eating disorders do not discriminate; anyone can fall victim, young or old, female or male, and they devastate not just the sufferer but families and friends too.
Unfortunately, Linda Tremble lost her battle with anorexia nervosa. Linda was known for a quotation by Joan Baez: “action is the antidote to despair” – a sentiment that we wholeheartedly endorse. Linda’s family set up the Linda Tremble Foundation to help others battling against eating disorders and, with “action is the antidote to despair” in mind, next February a team from
arc Group London will be undertaking sponsored hill-climbing on the Isle of Skye, including The Old Man of Storr, before heading back via Ben Vrackie, on the edge of Pitlochry.
The team are looking forward to raising a considerable amount for this most worthy cause.
